Admission requirements
This information is for international students applying to a UOIT undergraduate program. If you are interested in pursuing a master's or PhD, please visit our Graduate Studies website.
You must complete the appropriate number of courses (with sufficient breadth and depth) according to the following guidelines:
- Admission requirements by country
- Admission requirements by curriculum
- Academic subject prerequisites (subject matter an applicant must cover in secondary school or post-secondary studies before pursuing university-level studies)
Note: Admission is competitive. The specific average or standing required for admission varies from year to year. Students are selected by taking into consideration a wide range of criteria including school marks, distribution of subjects taken and performance in subjects relevant to the academic program. Possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Preference will be given to applicants with the best qualifications.
Applications for undergraduates programs are processed directly by completing the online application.
- Submit your application online.
- Be sure to apply by the application deadline for the program to which you want to be admitted.
- Copies of documents can be uploaded as part of the application for initial evaluation.
- Once your application is submitted, we’ll send you information about the next steps in the admission process.
Note: If you're a student with a disability and want to be considered for admission to UOIT on the basis of disability, please read the information on our Student Accessibility Services website.
