COVID-19 frequently asked questions
-
I am an Ontario High School (101) applicant. How will my application be impacted?
We continue to assess all applications and grades as they are submitted to us. You will receive a decision by Friday, May 27, even if we do not have grades for all your grade 12 courses. If you are attending a school which has retained the quadmester model, you will not be disadvantaged if one or more of your prerequisite courses are scheduled during the final quadmester. In cases such as this, grade 11 courses will be factored into your average calculation presuming you are registered in the corresponding grade 12 course. If applicable, your conditional offer of admission will be finalized in mid-July once all final grades have been distributed to the universities to which you have applied.
-
I have applied to graduate level studies. How will my application be impacted?

Will Ontario Tech accept electronic transcripts as official?
We will accept electronic transcripts (e.g. PDF format) as official, provided they are sent directly to the university by the issuing institution. These should be sent directly from an institutional (staff) email address.

I am unable to provide official transcripts by the required deadline. Can I provide these transcripts in an alternate format?
You can upload electronic copies of your documents using our online document submission tool; please note that these documents will be considered unofficial and cannot be used to issue a firm offer of admission If you are unable to submit your official transcripts in a timely manner, please contact futurestudent@ontariotechu.ca (domestic applicants) or futureinternational@ontariotechu.ca (international applicants) for further direction.
